Your Heart Shall Live -Psalms 69:32-36

"The humble shall see this and be glad; And you who seek God, your hearts shall live. For the LORD hears the poor, and does not despise His prisoners. Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them. For God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, that they may dwell there and possess it. Also, the descendants of His servants shall inherit it, and those who love His name shall dwell in it."

I Will Hear -Isaiah 65:24

"It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear." 

Weep No More -Isaiah 30:19

Oops! I missed my first day of posting yesterday!! Oh well, I'll make it up by doing two tomorrow...

"For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; You shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you."

Yet He Thinks On Me -Psalms 40:17

"But I am poor and needy; Yet the LORD thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God."

Cannot be Recounted -Psalms 40:5

This is a different kind of promise...I view it as a promise, because it reminds us just how much God is involved in our lives...He has done so many wonderful things for us, and we easily forget, or don't even realize it's God's hand working in our lives.

So hold on to this promise...it's a reminder that God thinks about and cares for us.

"Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; and Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered."

You Will Answer Me -Psalms 86:7

Well, I haven't really been writing anything extra in my posts lately. Maybe it's because I've been a little lazy, but probably it's due to the fact that I've been swamped with a lot of school! On top of that, I'm pretty bad with my schedule, so I tend to not post until really late...

But I just wanted to comment on this one, as this encouragement is huge for me right now. I really feel like the things God has me going through are really bringing to light all the weakness and failures that I have. It's hard when multiple struggles hit you all at once!

This verse, however, reminds me to put my hope in and seek help from God...why? Because God will answer me.

"In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me."

Take Heart!

Regards the Lowly -Psalms 138:6

"Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar."

Redeemed in Peace -Psalms 55:18-19

"He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me. God will hear, and afflict them, Even He who abides from of old."

Evening and Morning -Psalms 55:17

"Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice."

He Gave Ear to Me -Psalms 77:1

"I cried out to God with my voice-To God with my voice; And He gave ear to me."

God Has Heard Me -Psalms 66:16-20

"Come and hear, all you who fear God, And I will declare what He has done for my soul. I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed by God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!"

Zealous for His Land (Part 2) -Joel 2:18-19

Here is the continuation of God's Promise in the book of Joel. If the people repented, God promised them this:

"Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. The LORD will answer and say to His people, "Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will not longer make you a reproach among the nations."

"In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul."

In My Distress -Psalms 18:6

When we are going through hard times in our lives, this verse reminds us that God hears.

"In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears."
