If you look at Mark 2, you read an account of when Jesus was preaching to a bunch of people in Capernaum. However, while He was preaching, a man who was paralyzed was let down through the roof.
Jesus after seeing the man, forgave Him of his sins.
The scribes, hearing Jesus forgive the man of His sins, instantly decided that He was being blasphemous, since only God could forgive sins. Yet Jesus, to show His power, healed the paralyzed man. Verse ten says,
"But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins..."The promise today is that God can forgive sins. God healed a man who was paralyzed, unable to move!
If God can do that, how much more able is He to forgive our sins?
