The Hope of Eternal Life -Titus 1:2

In the opening of Titus 1, Paul clearly explains where he places his hope.

"in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,"

I really like how this is written. He could have just said that God has promised eternal life, and it would still be a great promise. However, Paul also reminds the reader that God cannot lie.

If God can't lie, than His promise of eternal life is very secure.
